What do you guys think about this ad on Gumtree.

Not fimiliar with prices / quality of these guitars, but I know for a fact that the Squier Custom is way above the actual retail price excl discount.
I could get this guitar for R3500 (from R4500) at my local guitar store.

Hopefully someone may find something in here though.

Hi guys

Not something I usually do, but ...

This is an ad from a local session player in CT that I know:

http://capetown.gumtree.co.za/c-Stuff-for-Sale-musical-instruments-Guitar-sale-W0QQAdIdZ231812884

He's a meticulous tone hound, great player and a very picky buyer - I can attest to all of the first 5 guitars on the list being gems - in some cases he has often bought them to me and we have put them head to head with R20/30 000 cliched artist level stereotype equivalents - his axes always seem to win on the tone factor !
He was in Hong Kong recently so it might be a friend or his wife that you will meet up with (I don't know if he's back yet) - don't worry - no scams or dodgy vibes.

I have no personal stake in the sales, but he is a straight up guy, and buying something from him will save you the hassle of going through endless examples to find "a good one" - he has ears like a bat!

Regards,
VV
