Hey Tom,
I really like it, it has that Fendery grunt about it and smooth highs. It has mid range bark and tightish low end, think 70's rock and roll, almost fuzz/gritty like tones.
If you want a bit more versatility in drive tones the C12N is a better bet, it is a Fender Classic used in Deluxes, Bassman's etc. Both have bell like cleans.
Those are my interpretations, but if you want listen for yourself Jensen is great because they have samples of all their speakers with the same musical phrase so it makes for easy comparisons.
I tend to prefer ceramic speakers for clean tones, with exception of celestion alnico blue, but the chime/bell like quality of ceramic is really nice, many people love the Fender sound (as do I) and MOST Fender speaker were and are ceramic, which is actually ALOT cheaper than alnico. On driven tones alnico has a darker/smoother feel to the distortion.
For example compare these to:

http://www.jensentone.com/p10q.php
Of course tone is always subjective, but I prefer the C10R (again ceramic) for cleans, but the smooth/velvety break up on the P10Q, the alnico.
C10R retails for $41.00 the P10Q retails for $109.00, so if budget is a factor ceramic speakers will always be a cheaper bet.
Hope that helps!

What is your opinion on the C10R? I might consider one for my Amp.
