Can we not call each other idiots? It doesn't feel good to be on the other end of that.
(For the record, I agree with the rest of your post and enjoyed it. I just have to be fair and call you out on the same thing I called Mika out on.)

I don't really feel like reading all the replies to your post because 19 pages is a bit excessive but just in reply to the first post I'd like to say that 1. You're an Idiot - I work in a music store and trust me Ibanez aren't the brand being sent in for repairs over their shoddy fretwork and finishing or electronics cause their's is actually quite good...I've seen a hell of a lot of Fenders go in, and I've taken far more out the box as is to put it that have horrific flaws in them from day one, of course in this matter gibson actually somehow manage to have lower quality standards which is really really hard to believe but true none the less.
2. I play Ibanez and I don't consider the music the players who use this brand make to be bad at all, I'm not a fan of Vai or Satch so much any more either but I still absolutely respect them for the contributions they've made and all the people they inspire. Maybe some of us don't want to play like the guitarist of sonic youth because we see the value of technique, versatility and having no physical boundaries to achieving your expression. Honestly being able to play well and then instead choosing to play like Kurt Cobain (much respect etc for what he did though, cause the 80's were getting lame and metal is way richer today thanks to it) is like studying english and then only ever reading the see spot run series of books.
