Yes I am new and new to guitar playing as well, however I haved loved the guitar for years due to my musical up-bringing. Music from the 60's, 80's and 90's were drilled in and I loved it.
I recently looked up to see if stone magazine had updated their origional tavisty of a top 100 guitarists list,
guess what... they haven't, no one has.
So i was wondering if you guys would be willing to help me with a new list that i have been working on. you don't have to put 100 guitarists in(you can if you want) but just 10-15 will do. many of my friends are busy with theirs and by the end of next month i would like to tally the results, obviously the more people that do this the better so far I have near 200 people working on lists and trying to spread them to more people.(e-mail me your lists at
