just got my hands on a previously unread palahniuk - rant.
That was a phenomenal read...I enjoyed it thoroughly. Palahniuk always has a way of writing things in an original way. Regardless of content, simply the format is exciting.
I have spent most of this year reading that George R.R. Martin series, a song of fire and ice...An awesome series, but for some reason it's not an easy read and I have found myself taking a few weeks for each book.
I just finished a non-fiction called "The Outfit: The role of the Chicago underworld in the shaping of modern America". I can't recall off hand who the author is, but the book is amazing. I see gangsterism everywhere now. ?
