Oh well - looks like the Capetonians are hijacking our event. ?
I think the organisers of the blues festival here in Durbs plan to make this an annual event. But if you guys can do better, I say go for it - maybe we can break your record next time. ?

What if we do cape town, joburg , and durban all together at the same time, that would certainly be something new then the veneu where it will be held will have 2 big screens showing the other 2 cities joining in.

We could easily get 5000 all together from the 3 major cities ?

but ja, i'm just a inventer guy, so who ever has contact with some major guys in the bizz, mention the idea to them, maby the sponser for each event can even give away a guitar as a lucky prize.....hint hint.

Smoke on the water is a bit of a touchy subject in Cape Town at Least at the V& A Waterfront. New Years eve 1992 IIRC, some stupid with a flare gun accidentally set a warehouse alight that burned down to the ground. The whole of Cape Town stunk of burned and rotting fish for about 2 weeks after that

I have sent this through to our programming department, but I take it from your e-mail they have not got back to you. It's not something that 94.7 Highveld stereo would be interested in, but I have passed it on to Talk Radio 702 and should one of the producers see an angle I have no doubt that they will be in contact.
