inflames You just did... Bad Alan, you are not on my facebook ? The dude or dudedet will rock the show, hope it works out as planned. PS. Manny, you will need to take him off my hands while I go to the b-day thing and I will collect him later ?
Manfred-Klose Can't get into fb inflames are you sure you didn't jam the domain geuss you'll have to wait till next saturday to find out who this mystery person is ?
AlanRatcliffe inflames wrote Bad Alan, you are not on my facebook ? I is in yr facebook, stealin' yr profile. All your friends are belong to us. ?
inflames I is in yr facebook, stealin' yr profile. All your friends are belong to us He He, funny, I like your pirate accent!
Guy-Onraet I'll be coming too. Might have a mystery forum member or 2 with me as well. Stoked to shake ya'lls hands and play yer geetors.
Renesongs You can count me in. The only meisie I am allowed to bring is my wife and maybe my daughter if she has nothing better to do ( She is also a forum member albeit a dormant one)
AlanRatcliffe Maybe the gear needs a bit of organisation, to make sure we don't end up with 20 guitar amps, four drum kits and no PA. Backline: As mentioned in the other thread, I'll bring my Twin and Vox AC15. I want to fiddle with the Tube Tamer anyway... another one or two wouldn't go amiss though. If a bassist is coming in, they can bring their own rig, but if we have more than one... PA: Manfred, Cannon and Rene all mentioned small PAs. Who wins? Probably just for vocals, and more for monitoring purposes than performance, so doesn't need to be a concert rig. Mics: A Mic or two with stands and cables. I could bring, but if someone else can save me the schlep, it would be appreciated. Guitars, etc. Bring your own guitars, guitar stands, FX and cables. OK?
inflames +1 Alan so doesn't need to be a concert rig That could work, then Graeme could sell tickets to the event! Looks like Graemestock might be bigger than the Killers visiting SA ?
Cannon I think Graeme mentioned he had a PA. If not i'm more than willing to bring mine. If not i can take care of mics, leads and stands. Just let me know graeme.
FenderBender LOL @inflames! I have an SM58 and 5m cable, no stand though. My system can act as a PA. 50W RMS per channel. I have semiconductor grade fuses on the output and 4 spares on my bench so I'm not worried about thrashing her a bit ? We can use my laptop as a mixer and I have a USB soundcard with 2x mic preamps
Manfred-Klose Greame it'll blow if there is a drummer nearby ? I have this alto 8 channel PA with 2 100 watt fane speakers: http://www.directproaudio.com/product.cfm?directid=54820 i think cannon has the same one. dont have any speaker stands, but i suppose we can put it on something. have to 2x SM58's. dont have a monitor dough. So depending if the 2 bands wants monitors on stage.
AlanRatcliffe I'll bring one of our decent cameras and try get some good shots. I'm no photographer though. @ Cannon - you mentioned a 600W PA in the other thread. Is that the one? That'll do. @ Manfred - Two 58's should be fine. Speaker stands not neccessary, but mic stands will be. Anyone else planning on bringing a guitar amp?
Manfred-Klose My only mic stand decided to break this past weekend :'( I think cannon also have spare mic stands. i'll be bringing my amp as well.
