Boss GT6??

I can get a boss GT6 from a mate, he said I must make him an offer. I thought R800 would be fair, but now I'm not so sure..

Any suggestions?

We were discussing this in chat earlier - I paid R3500 (marked price was R5000) for a GT-8 in 2005, and they're going second-hand for very similar prices now, still. So, depending on what he paid for it, these sorts of things seem to hold their value quite well. He might not be offended and pour his drink over your head, but you might have to go a bit higher.

i recently could not get rid of my boss GT6 for R2000 and it was immaculate! I eventually swopped it for a cry baby and a ibanez de7 delay ? they nice pedals if you work on them all the time, i eventually just used my patches for a few months then could not remember how to get some things programmed on it...can be complicated like moving effects order etc. I wish they made it USB with a Pc interface that you can drag stuff around like the POD that would have been great!

Hey Blues....he asked you to make him and offer.....you think R800.00, that's an offer. He does'nt have to accept it, but maybe he just might, and you're on! On the other hand, he will say say "make me a better offer", in which case you increase the offer by R200.00 at a time!!!! I would'nt offer a guy a lot to start with......friends are friends, and business is business, and this is business!!! Unless you wanna go and offer a few grand, in which case, you can go and get a better machine.......... ? ?

Thanx guys.. I just offered him R800 and he accepted !!

He never used the pedal anyway and it's been lying at his house for a while (luckily, I knew that before I made him the offer ?)

Now I just need to figure out how the thing works? Any tips??

Alan, I suspect this is the wrong manual. GS-6 instead of GT6?
