Can anyone on this forum or any other forum in the world please explain to my why any guitar player would need all those pedals?
I don't want to be in his shoes on gig night! Just imagine setting all of that up. Once he is done setting up, where will the rest of the band stand?
This is crazy not madness!
Well David Gilmour has at least that many, but he also has a very sophisticated switching system and lots of roadies.
It's possible that this is case of pedal overkill. Or it's possible that the guy has multiple pedal boards and only uses 1 at a time. Richard Thompson, when he tours with his band, has two pedal boards on stage with him - one for electric with a feed going into the amps, and one for acoustic with a stereo feed ("clean" and "effects") going into the desk.
