Is there any place where I can go and get all of the following : I am going to have the Reserve Bank knocking on my door if I continue my Forex transactions ? I still need the following (any help with who stocks these and has good prices would be so so appreciated) * 6 hole Vintage tremolo (preference is the 62 Fender Reissue one, but to find one in SA!!) * Thicker than usual neck plate * Volume & tone knobs * Pickguard * 5 way switch * 3 250k Pots (CTS preferable) * Graphtech nut * String trees * Schaller locking tuners * Wiring * Copper tape I have the pups, the locking strap buttons, graphtech saddles, the artist, the finisher, and the tech. Am I missing something important? :-[ Your guys thoughts? please give me one shop in SA that has everything? ☹ Thanks all

haha I havn't followed this post, sorry.

The parts actually arrived during the week and I collected on Sunday, Callaham parts just oooooze quality. Big Wow and thumbs up to Bill Callaham!

The body and neck are also here. WOW.. I just touched and felt and looked at it all day yesterday.
AAAAA Birdseye Maple is something else to look at ?

I do have some pics and I will post them tomorrow.

Hahaha Strats, just ask and you can come have a jam on it when it's all finished. These parts have potential to make my ultimate..

I can bring the body and neck to the GFSA get together, I brought it up to Joburg to meet with the artist/guitartech ?

Word to the wise: don't handle the body and neck too much before they are finished to avoid oil transfer from your hands. Your finisher will do final sanding himself, but if any oils get left behind in the pores it can cause things like craters and fisheyes.

Tempting I know - raw wood feels so good to run your hands over (even better while you're doing final sanding and it has a coating of fine sawdust on it - almost addictive).

Callaham left out the two stainless stell claw screws, got the claw and springs (no screws) yes they where suppose to be in, I ordered the kit... dam. I'm not going to complain... $2

Just another mission now

any one know where I can get top quality claw screws?
(I don't know where to buy screws other than those in Builders Market, will they have? :-[)

You can get good quality stainless screws from any company that sells nuts and bolts. They'll usually have a range of chromed, stainless and black in all different sizes.
