hello all, my "man" down at marshall called me to inform me to tell my students that the marshall sale will be this coming week ... huge specials... and i stand corrected but it seems to be a 40% discount on anything in store...... since on fri he allowed me to buy a flight case at sale price at less 40% so i managed to beat the rush.......... they got some great gear at moment.... so go check it out....... so if you have GAS you can now buy more for your buck ......... peace and light Keira ps... i'm not sure if this sale only applies to Marshall music in woodmead jhb...or all marshall musics country wide......just woodmead is my local music store so i get all the notifications

I hate harmonica most of the time, but first time I heard Dave play (trying out a harmonica in a shop 5m behind me), the hairs on my arms stood on end and I finally understood what others see in the harp. World class player. Also plays a good guitar and apparently is doing some great looping stuff lately.

EDIT: and to actually answer the question, he plays mostly blues and has played with all and sundry - here and the UK. Fronted the Lonesharks.

Rikus, Fritz plays, and is also taking lessons from someone in Cape Town... He might be able to set you up there.

Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan, only made noise myself, until I saw Blues Traveler playing on TV. Holy moly.

Hah Hah, I almost fell off my chair when someone gave me their flyer... Everyone else gets a long introduction, mine is 'Genius', while I'm very flattered, I'm not sure that it is quite true ??? I am looking forward to presenting the workshop and if any of you are inclined to learn more about recording and how the analog and digital realms meets it would be great to see you there.

Just got back. Good deals on almost everything. Saw an insane deal on an Ibanez RG Prestige 3120 and some Martins too. Very busy though.
