Camel - Nude
Back to Robert Plant's Band of Joy this afternoon. I am finally by myself in the corner of the office.

Muse - The Resistance
First listen - quite impressed so far. Matt Bellamy's voice takes some getting used too, but good progressive rock all round.
Quite orchestral and lots of Queen influence especially in his soloing. Good crafting of the songs and Matt plays some mean piano as well.
My first real taste of Muse, good stuff

Thieve ft. Die Heuwels Fantasties - Way To Go

Maybe it is where we live or come from or what we eat or something but for me anyway, there is definitely sounds and kinds of music that when I hear it, it's like in the blood and belongs and I belong to it you know. Anyway, some time back Bob spoke about Dave Alvin (Ashgrove) and all I've ever known about this guy was The Blasters who I really enjoy (the blood thing). Anyway, I bought Ashgrove and it is so in the blood you've just gotto to go out and get it to. I also got Dave Alvin and the Guilty Women which is pretty sort of country and just wonderful as well. So, thanks Bob that was a good one. Ashgrove must be one of my favorites hey.

White Stripes are wicked cool, love the guitar work. The Black Keys are one of my favourite bands, I only have one album....NEED THE OTHERS! ???
Have you guys heard any of Jack White's other projects? The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather?

Hell yes. Everything you need to know about 20th century music all in there (complete with squeaky bass pedal on Since I've Been Loving You).

I'd have to confess that I've neglected Jimi Hendrix lately but I've been listening to his four Jimi Hendrix Experience CD's all day.

+1 - That's one of my all time favourite albums - I particularly love the 2 acoustic tracks: "all I wanna be is by your side" and "baby I love your way" - that Epiphone acoustic sounds sooo mellow....

Oh - and I'm listening to KT Tunstall's "Eye of the telescope" now...

Neil Diamond - Dreams. Interesting choice of songs, some better than others. Loving I'm a Believer, but Yesterday and Ain't no Sunshine has been done better imo.
