What are you listening to right now...

What tune in your playlist/radio are you listening to currently? I'm digging Danzig so far.

Kush

Can't get enough of The Black Keys today. Started with El Camino, then Brothers, onto The Big Come Up and now playing Magic Potion. I just love the raw, gritty sound of the earlier albums especially. Really special stuff this!

Wormwood

today: i got a pair of gohil's boots and i got .....fading roots

This is the first Soundgarden song I ever heard. Probably the first of that whole Seattle thing I heard. Got big into that whole thing a while later, mainly with their later stuff, and Nirvana.

Sub-Pop announced a re-release a while back... Might have to try and get hold of a hard-copy of this then.

Been listening to it quite a bit again lately. And this, another one from the year o' my birth I have a nerdy fascination for albums from that year :-[ there were some GOOD ones:

hallelujah.

so many 'definitive' versions of this song. my favourites would be from jeff buckley and kd lang. but there's only one 'definitive', and this would be it.

coincidentally i'm listening to lang's 'hymns of the 49th parallel'. brilliant

Banditman

Bunch of the same tracks over & over for an upcoming rock tribute show.

But right now I'm on a "break", so it's Gov't Mule - ~~Beautifully Broken~~ correction, Rocking Horse

I really like the Buckley one...

Great band. I like the earlier, Alan Woody era stuff best so far.

Man I love this band. But listening to them tends to be a bit bizarre. They have released a load of stuff and each release sounds completely different. ???
"Life is like the Melvins discography, you never know what you're gonna get."

This reminds me of another band with a slightly insane catalogue:

And even though it's different, it still sounds like The Melvins ? Or the ones I've listened to so far anyway.

I'll check these guys out ?

There are some great live albums from those Boston Tea Party shows, showing what a great live band they were and how potent the triple guitar attack was.

This song is good stuff.

I know this is a cheesy 80's type video and song arrangement, but his tone is incredible.
Wait for the solo that ends the song, the goosebumps will cover your entire soul (Unfortunately they cut it off a bit)
