Malkav deefstes wrote Thanks for all the info on Parker Fly. But can I just make sure, are all these features that you're mentioning (stainless frets, piezo saddles etc.) specific to the Parker Fly or Parker guitars in general? I'm talking pre-American Musical cockup of course. As far as I know it was only ever the Fly, the other models only appeared after the American Music group took over.

Squonk singemonkey wrote More I see it, the more I like it: It does grow on you. Tele with a Bigsby, what colour is that, salmon pink?
deefstes singemonkey wrote More I see it, the more I like it: I wouldn't have thought that I'd like a pink guitar either but for some reason this one really does it for me. I suppose if it was brand new out of the box I would not have liked it at all but the fact that it's roadworn changes everything.
singemonkey Yeah. Salmon or shell-pink I think they call it. One of the line up of classic early-60s colours that just look right on a fender.
deefstes Squonk wrote It does grow on you. Tele with a Bigsby, what colour is that, salmon pink? Oddly (or maybe not, I'm not familiar with vintage equipment) it's not a Bigsby though, it's an Epiphone trem. But yes, it does look good on a tele.

As I mentioned on FB, I'd put money on that being a Bigsby arm made to order for Epiphone and merely rebranded. If you recall, Fender Bigsbys are also (unless I'm way off) made by Bigsby, but have an F logo on them. Bigsby's kind of a whore ?

But still, a bit odd to have an Epiphone trem on a Fender guitar, no?
Malkav Refinished Ibanez RGDs, cause everyone who plays 7 strings seems to be getting sick of black ? These guys are Zerberus guitars, not really my thing but I figured maybe someone would like them. ? To finish off with, a beautiful PRS with a beautiful finish, cause I just love anything that reminds me of the ocean ?

Malkav In other good news, Carvin have finally caved and Allan Holdsworth now has a headless signature, as is his preference. ? =
AlanRatcliffe I have no problem with the purple myself - unusual and good looking. But that brown pickguard... Put a black guard on there and it'll look 100 times better:
AlanRatcliffe Warren wrote What is it with Holdsworth and the headless guitars anyhow? I'm guessing, but Holdsworth likes smaller, hollow bodies and a headless is obviously less neck heavy. A zero fret also makes sure the action is perfect.
