AlanRatcliffe Francis Viviers wrote that aint pron, its just like WRONG! SIES The guitar doesn't look all that great either. ?
NorioDS Everything about this guitar makes it the guitar of my dreams. I've always loved the design of the JS-series guitars & the specs are great. Short of having a chrome-boy, I always liked the idea of having a *white* JS. And here it is and there's no compromise in tone. Just as I was getting used to the idea of 2 less frets, they brought out the guitar that would make my world right again ?
AlanRatcliffe Hmmm... it's basically a Vigier Bumblefoot signature with the JS body (and no thimble holder).
AlanRatcliffe Reminds me of some of the Curbow stuff. Nothing "wrong" with the frets, but it's a three octave neck (which is also why they only have one pickup). After fret 27 they change to only one fret per two notes, otherwise the frets would be too close together to play. Takes some major adjustment from the player.

AlanRatcliffe Norio wrote Anyhow, that JS body is soooo sexy *droooooool* ? I can only agree. The extended cutaway does take a little away from it, but I suppose it was that or move the entire body backwards, which would also look strange.

Ja it makes it look a bit lob-sided whereas the original design looks a lot more balanced but I'll learn to cope with that ? I'm not sure yet but I actually think I prefer it. It gives it a slightly (very slightly) edgier look. You know what these things are retailing for locally? Time to start saving!
