Pron.... GFSA style.

I know it's irrational, but I reckon we should have a thread where you can post links to guitars you want real bad, and guitars you think are just downright sexy. I'll [obviously] go first.... Its not aGibson or Epiphone but still looks good.

The first of its kind.... PEDAL PRON

ZVex "Sea Scape" Pedal Set !

Now this is AWESOME: A set of 9 different ZVex pedals; custom painted by ZVex artist Hannah Haugberg.
Set includes (from left to right):

1st row: Box of Metal, Box of Rock, Fuzz Factory

2nd row: Ooh Wah, Wooly Mammoth, Machine

3rd row: Trem Probe, Fuzz Probe, and Wah Probe

All custom painted, all very cool ! Only one of its kind!

@ $3000 it is a bit pricey even for a one of a kind, super cool looking, collectors pedal set ?

MikeM

Brent. I don't like you ☹ That's a ridiculous setup.

It must be the only pedal board on earth that might deserve a showcase, and be hung on a wall in a music room ?

MikeM

Man, it's awesome. Makes me think of Andy Warhol for some reason... Something between that and Marcel Duchamp..

But in all seriousness, you must get some strange sounds out of that rig!!

mmmm Should be called the Zvex Marine Nonatych (For those who don't know what I am saying..... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyptych)

Talking of Andy Warhol, I went to the Tate Modern Gallery and got to see a few of his paintings in the flesh, the marvelous Marilyn diptych was, no pun intended, simply stunning ?

MikeM

Good one ?

However now I hate you more. Not only does Tate Modern have great works, the building is awesome as well..

Jack-Flash-Jr

The stomper looks like a make-up container. You know... 'cause I use so much make up.

all its missing is a yellow submarine in the background

This will definitely be my next guitar...

Billy Corgan signature Stratocaster. Nitro finish, fixed bridge with string through body routing, 3 humbuckers, and an ultra cool tweed case. Everything I want in a Strat!

Billy Corgan? Never thought I'd see the day ?

Love that maple fretboard with the black and white scheme.. nice...

...and I suppose you'd like that to go with a '68 Marshall stack that you use for cleans and a Blackface Bassman that you have for its cranked tone? :?

dee

Haha, you don't approve?

But seriously, I *rarely* if ever use the trem on my Strat, and would rather have a fixed bridge. If you look past the signature on the headstock, that really is a great guitar. I will agree that not everyone might approve of the 3 humbuckers. But it still sounds like a Strat through and through.

I bought a fixed Strat bridge saying the same thing, yet I'm reluctant to put it in a guitar now - is the bridge not one of the determining things in tone? I don't want a Strat that does not sound Strat. If you order cheesecake you don't want it to taste like malva with vanilla pudding. Both lekker, but ....

Whaaaaat? Man, he can play!

DonovanB

he has also had a signature model for quite a while now.

singemonkey

Looks good. I like the three hums sitting in single coil slots. I'm reasonably partial to the large headstock. But it doesn't have a 3 screw, bullet plate, does it?

nicovlogg

This strat is really growing on me.... >☹

Bob-Dubery

Something a bit out of kilter and rather undressed...

This is a 3/4 size tenor guitar made by British luthier Nick Benjamin for Kaki King

DonovanB

Bob you look at too much pron... :?

thats nice.

What kind, with that bling, Don?
