That's only because her dad is BRC. I think her singing is terrible...pity about the music that is making it "BIG" these days. And 90% of people in the world have become so degenerate that they actually listen to that rubbish ☹

Back to the topic though...All that I look at to deGAS is the Hello Kitty strat ?

heheh but come on her hit song was awesome...had the world bopping..... no one has a a guitar company and disney get behind a signature guitar if they not a sure win ...... heheheh yeah and a good voice or musical virtiousity has never been a requirement for being a star or popular or a no 1 hit as she is ....... dylans voice sucked so did so many other artists hehehehh and most bands on charts can't seriously play guitar .....all the serious muso's are in underground markets selling to minimum audiences.....

so yeah she may not be a 5 % the guitarist not even 2 % the guitarist of what steve vai is ....ok lets make that 0.00005% but i'm willing to bet she has sold more cd's than he has EVER ....scary thought but a reality of pop ..... the "Mc Donalds happy meal for the ears" ....

peace and light

Not actually true.
Her fans are preteens (and there are a LOT of them) who have never heard of BRC.
She just hits the mark with her target audience.
I know - my daughter is one of them.

Your daughter has never heard of BRC? What is this world coming to? ???

Yeah, but her dad invested a lot and time an money to get her to where she is. If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't be a Hannah Montanna ?

This ain't got nothin on the hello kitty guitar I'm afraid!

[deleted]

I could live with a hello kitty guitar. -By the way, the kids I teach at the nursery school have purple glitter ones, sometimes I wish I could have one too.

I'm quite surprised at how fast the kids I teach aspire to being a guitarist. I don't think a piano would have the same effect.

Their veiw of the world is also very different from ours. After one girl's lesson she said to her mom she wanted to be a star like me when she grows up. If only. Let's hope I have a market slowly building up of all the kids I teach and in ten years time, BAM. That's one marketing tecnique that hasn't been explored. Or maybe it has.

No buddy, Hannah Montanna is a Disney creation, not a BRC creation, and Miley fitted the character perfectly, so she was chosen to play the part!!! BRC was written into the script as the Dad because it worked!!!! OK, there's a bit more to it..."It's a Laugh Productions" etc, but Disney!

BRC "introduced" the Jonas Brothers to the show!
