The saddest part is that the child who initially wants this, is after it more to pose than to work hard.
hopefully parents who do buy it encourage them to work at it and learn properly.
hehehh excuse me lol i'm gonna get slated for this but i know many guitarists who also don't put in the work and pose with their guitars of various design......
i teach and regularly have guys coming to me to say they want to learn guitar cos it's cool and they wanna be in a band where they can party and get "women" they used the derogetory term
so yeah i think many people buy guitars think it's way cool.... cos it has been romanticised and forget theres tons of theory and motor skills to learn which all takes effort.... it's not a computer game you can sus in one day ........
so yeah sure lots of girls will want one just to be cool..... but a few just like with the guys will persevere and be the next hendrix/vai/martin taylor /
think you guys are slating this for the wrong reasons...and yeah i agree i doubt you will see one male guitarist with one.. but this was not meant for that or the pro market .... and with washburn involved and disny two big brand names i'm sure it will not be a useless unplayable guitar... but a cheap but functional entry level instrument ...
good on them
peace and light
