Custom Tele: Part 3

As kaydub suggested here is pimp my tele' I went all out on this one, but still have some other tele pimpin ideas. still need to find a tele switch selecter knob(does anyone know of a shop that stocks them?) I got 2 of these gold knobs with the pearl look(i know crappy pic): Okay maby the gold was a little bit over the top, but wait there's more......... Took out the single coil and added a dimarzio tone t with a coil tap switch on the volume knob, strangely enough i got the wiring schematics from the seymour duncan website :? just had to swop the two wires. I made a clear perspex scratchplate, and printed out a pic of paganini to get a neo classocal look going with the gold knobs. Anyone got any other ideas for pics i can print out? I thinking on a chuck norris one perhaps ?, to give it some attitude ? Or maby a bright blue and red concentric cirlce do go with the cream colour. If i can print out a few pics, i can add a different pic every week. If you have any suggestions, i would love to hear them. thanks.

Yeah still trying to get a perfect colour match with the white/cream body, the iron maiden could have worked if it was a bit darker and brighter in color.

I still like the old black and white pic, the cool thing is that i can experiment and go wild until i have a few that i like, and depending on the mood of place that play at or just jamming with someone i can choose a background that will fit the mood.

This is a brilliant idea, and very clever, one can change your guitar look all the time, it also doesn't cost much to do so. From someone who is a designer I give Manfred the thumbs up! Smart very smart ?

Awesome, if you need help with photoshop (Don't know if you are adept at it or not) give me a shout ? Are these regular printer prints or photo prints?

Photo prints A4 are usually around R30 and will look AWESOME!!!!

Yes these are A4 size.
Had it printed on some special paper at a print shop for R4 , still going to experiment with vinyl and photo paper printing.

If your up to it , you can design me a blue and red concentric circle, with bright colors, amlost like the zakk wylde guitars.

Original size is 8x bigger than that, but will mail it when you have settled on colours ?

Almost, just needs a darker blue.

Giving it kind of a realistic feel, try the shade thing also.

Almost like the first one you made, just with a different blue(darker? dont know how you to explain the type of blue, but like the blue and red type color i used in my captain america guitar)

OK here it is, thanks MikeM.

I've printed it out a little bit to small, the bullseye is suppose to be in the center(had to make it fit), but i'll print another one(moved slightly to the one side so it will be center)with next batch i am going have printed.

Will post the new one as well when i have it.

A little larger and moved slightly to the left would work for me - so the drop shadow lines up with the top edge of the pickguard.

I have a few strat ones as well, but they dont fit, the shaft should be about 5mm in size, its one of those really old looking switches.
look at some of the earlier pics of the tele that exposes the switch, if it looks like it will fit you can bring one with tommorow.

Tele or Strat are the same switches, but there are two different sizes, the smaller Asian and the bigger US (Grigsby or CRL) ones. I've got a few of the bigger ones in white (I tend to use the black ones). I've also seen some that have both sizes in a + shape, BTW.

I was lucky enough to have Manny display & demonstrate his beloved Tele in person today.
It's beautiful and full of character

(I must add that the guitarist contributes a fair amount to to overall package!)
