I'm talking old as piano accordion old. Is this instrument still used in some music. Someone gave me a piano accordion and organ yesterday. Don't know if i must chuck it or keep it.
Very old instruments
I guess it depends on the style of music. If you wanna get rid of them I suggest donating them to a music school or something like that.
It's hard to give most organs away these days (although I'd take it from you if it's a Hammond B3 ;D).
Piano accordions are still popular in many indigenous types of music: Kwela, mbaqanga, sakkie-sakkie, etc., and they are very expensive to buy new. So if you don't want it, you can easily move it if you don't ask too much.
Joey's 100% right - If you don't want them, rather give them to someone who needs them. There are organisations who are always looking for musical instruments for outreach-type musical projects. They'll put them in the hands of people who need them but don't have the money to buy them.
