Hi All After all your encouragement, GAS got the better of me and I got the ARC300. Here are some Pics. I have changed the strings from the horrible factory strings that usually come with the guitar. The tone is wonderful and I am very happy with the guit. So far learned about three cords......and yes the fingers are sore........ ? ?.......Having great fun though..... ? ?

Problem with GAS is that it is an incurable disease. You can only treat the symptom....Buy stuff.....Problem is treating the symptoms only increases the affliction....... ? ?

heheehh yeah Tom , but i must say with time it reduces ........ the GAS i mean.... after you settle on a good amp and guitar you like and get the tone you want ... GAS subsides.....

BUT and there is a BUT it takes many years...... heheheheh

i think it's all a quest for tone.... which can be so elusive..... but once you find the tone you looking for ...then it becomes ... "a little less noise" and finally you settle on a system that works for you.....

i'm down to the fine tuning stage ...hehehhe so my spending in last while has greatly reduced..... my new mission is light weight .... so i'll replace any of my components with same or higher quality if it is lighter in weight ....and then less noise..... will be the final frontier for me....

and amazingly ...hard as it cn be i'm learning to say NO to myself... when in music stores.... so i gues you can outgrow gas... but it only takes about 20 years in the biz heheheheh
