Hello Colin, let me suggest something. First off, go to th introductions spot here. Tell the people a bit about yourself, especially what kind of music you dig and what you dig to play and what you want to do with guitar. Then they know something about you and wont send you to a classical teacher if you want to bang out metal or something. I am in Benoni, but I am not gonna teach you nuffin. I am also keen to find a teeshah but what I want is also too far away. I actually havent done too much research for anything closer by. I know there are people round here who will say they can teach you, but you have to be careful. How much do you want to learn? Do you want to know guitar theory? Yip, and if you find a classical teacher round here let me know about it because I have been lining up a teacher who is a member of this forum but it's far and she sounds like a woes tannie so I'm still a bit scared.
