Pointless Poll # 14410897 I cannot prove but I believe ....

After all, not every player accounts for a measly two instruments. Which begs the question: If the average player owns 2, and Keith Richards owns 7044190 guitars, are their players who own a fraction of a whole guitar? (old forum) Poll Results: That the person in this world who owns the most guitars is... Keith Richards: 6 Alan Ratcliffe: 2 Pete Townsend: 2 Slash: 4 The Edge: 2 David Gilmour: 2 MoJo JoJoe: 10 George Gruhn: 0

I'm not that into hot rods. I'll take a MG-B over a Shelby any day. Actually thinking of starting a Sevenesque build but first need to finish some guitars, amps etc.
No, it's definitely his guitars all right.

That's it, you're off my Christmas list... >☹

...and I'll take a Morgan over either. MG-B second choice and a Morris Minor (with Nissan 1400 engine and gearbox) third. ?

You know why the British like warm beer?

Lucas made all their fridges...

So Mojo JoJoe is DA MAN! Believe it. You read it on the Internet ?

Pete Townsend was, of course, a red herring and I am pleased to see that not too many took that particular bait. He has, of course, owned a lot of guitars but ...err... "disposed" of many of them.

Actually, there's a guy on Harmony Central forums, goes by the name Bbreaker - his collection is staggering. You name it - Les Pauls, SGs, Strats, Teles, Rics, PRSi, whatever - he's not only got it, but has lots of them. He has a room for storing Gibson, a room for Fender and a room for the other brands.

He often posts pics like these:

That's just ridiculous. And, I notice his house is made out of wood. One dropped match and he's crying.

Yeah - seems half of America's mid-west population lives in tinderboxes.

That guitar collection introduces the age-old polygamist's quandary, doesn't it? I mean, you end up having to undertake a lot of maintenance, and you never really have time to pay attention to them all... I feel...really square by comparison, having a very close relationship with my favourite guitar! I'm still happy I chose wisely, though I wouldn't mind one or two more to round out the sounds I want. But that many of the same type is just duplication and redundancy, isn't it?

Byron

funny i never knew mojo jojoe was such an avid collector ?

I guess 2D guitars fit around the house better?

Building regulations vary from state to state. And in the areas where you get twisters they tend to like houses that are rock solid and will stand if hit by a twister or houses that will fall apart. What they DON'T want is something that will result in bits of something potentially lethal flying around. In Houston you can't have the sort of netting and slot-together pole carports that we might have. If a cyclone gets hold of one of those suckers then somebody could get decapitated or have a pole fall through their roof.
