Great news! You get to vote twice today, Once for the best political spinner and 2ndly for the best guitar finger picking each category A and B.
A lot of people were caught off guard by the public holiday so I will allow late submissions, (BTW you can change your vote). Here are those who made the deadline.

Hi Rene, here's my attempt at "Furious Fingerpicking", again beginner category. Played on my Godin, single coil pickup and piezo's with Guitar Rig 3 in Sonar. Two clean GR presets, hope I got the compression right this time. I'm afraid this is about as furious as my fingerpicking gets at the moment...and it's not very furious but hey, what the hell...here goes:

Peavey T-60 through Zoom G2.1u into Sony Laptop
Tried it on Takamine but didn't sound right, Had to tone down percussive thing because of horrible noise on pickups, need to work out how to get around that.

OK this is a rough shot for what it's worth - 1 guitar , 1 take, 1 minute, no plectrum. I'm a hybrid player, plectrum and fingers together, so excuse the heavy snapping on the lower strings where I normally would use plectrum.

OK. Here's mine. Dashed off quickly I'm afraid - took me longer to set up mics than to record. :) Used the Fender Princeton Reverb amp miced with an SM57 up close and my Rode NTK condenser at about 2M away and a little DI'd piezo added for sparkle.
