Cape Town GFSA Members get-together

inflames

Hi guys and girls,

During the GFSA weekend away post me and Manfred had a chat about a Cape Town get-together.
So here goes:

Date: 30 April 2009
Venue: Corner Bar (Durbanville)
Time: 19:00 - 03:00
Occasion: Discuss the weekend away and play some music.

Dino the owner of Corner Bar will give us the new section to meet and chat. He will also have drink specials for GFSA members.
Thanks to Cannon (Graig) for arranging this with Dino.

It is also open mic night, so bring your guitar and play us a tune.

Please put your name on this list if you are going to join us.
Also indicate if you will be performing so our open mic host Craig can put you on the list.

You can find a map to Corner Bar at http://www.cornerbar.co.za/

Hope to see you there!

we should hack a jimi hendrix cover ?

Renesongs

I've checked my schedule and ,with exception of suddenly contracting bubonic plague, I have no excuse not to be there, so count me in, especially if it involves consuming large draughts of beer and doing shamefully embarrassing Hendrix impersonations in front of relative strangers, or people who wished they were strangers to you.

Renesongs, glad to have you onboard! :goodtimes:

I just returned from Corner Bar, Dino even wants to get a sound engineer in for the eveninig ?

My gal had to tell me that the next day is a public holliday, so it should be a late night :bopping:

Cannon (Craig), will have all his gear there. So we have amps, we have drums we even have a bass guitar.
So come along bring your axe and jam or shred!
