Garage Days 2022

Hi everyone,

I feel like it's about time that we get a new garage days going. It's been close to a year at this stage.

We are looking at two options, either a standard jam session with electrics, or an acoustic sesh.

Let's vote on acoustic Vs electric and thereafter get a setlist together. Voting closes next Sunday.

Voting will also serve as an indication as to who's interested.

I'm hoping to get this going in November. Also, this will be PTA/JHB side.

domhatch I'm keeping an eye on the discord as well, but it seems like most(discord peeps) are keen for acoustic anyway.

So discord is fine, I'm just unsure as to how create a discord poll on my mobile. I don't have access to my pc at the moment.

Howsit people,

Based on the poll and the discord chat we're definitely lined up for an Acoustic session.

Interaction shows a headcount of about 7ish people and we already have a few song suggestions.

if i happen across any other good tabs for the suggested songs that i'm really familiar with on UG, i'll send those on as well

Obviously the title isn't much of a fit anymore. Apologies for my absence in getting this going, life has thrown me a few curveballs that had me teetering on the edge.

Sunday 26 February is my new suggestion. I'll get some feedback from the discord group as well.

ack! the missus' bday is on the 23rd, so i'm sure we'll be celebrating that weekend – saturday and sunday if i know anything about my wife.

Venue wise we've had Klitsgras as a suggestion. I'm also looking at a few halls near Rosebank. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I think id also be nice to have some braai facilities etc.

Still set for the 19th. I'm struggling to get a decent quote for a venue that can offer braai facilities etc.
The quotes are around 1.4k.

If you have any venue in mind that can assist, then I'll be forever grateful..

Also, do you have a set list? (although I'll probably just be singing this time)

I'm afraid that I don't have any tame venues I can recommend. That has always been one of the big issues.

klaasvakie Will do thank you. I was going to ask if someone had other tabs. I've started looking at some tutorials and they're not matching up.

Edit: I've added what looks to be to correct chords for the strummers among us. I'll double check that they match up properly tonight.
