My posts about my VOX AC10C1 referred - I find the AC10C1 a bit loud for my bedroom playing, and wonder if an AC4C1 / HW will be better?

I read on the internet many owners found the AC4C1 "boxy", "lacking in low end", apparently the Handwired version is better due to a better and larger cabinet. Reports of acceptable tone through an extension cabinet indicate that the cabinet may be the main culprit? Many also agree that the AC10C1 is a ""better" sounding amplifier.

Does anybody here have experience with the AC4C1/HW amps, opinions about tone and speakers would be appreciated. As mentioned, low volume playing is the use for it.

Love mine. Got it cheap on face cheese market place. Tones are so creamy. Absolute heaven. I have tHe version with the 12 inch speaker. Limited edition I think. It’s awesome.
