Some day, we might have gigis n jams again...until then, what your favourite pic (of you/your band)?

Me, circa 2017/8 at band practice. Left shoulder in complete agony - between songs ()while our 7 & 8 string guitarists tuned up) - I found a way to convey my impatience 😁 For which I was rewarded with a Jazz 3 pick and a b&w photo. Must be guitarist humour...

Miss that Warwick Vampyre - fugly, for sure and not my tonal taste (very modern sounding) - but what a pleasure to play. - comfy body shape, killer neck and sweetly spaced strings - damn near played itself, which would have been useful considering my lack of djenty skills at the time 😉

This is going back a while now, but...these. Because:

    1. We were so rehearsed it was probably the most relaxed I've ever been onstage and I really got to enjoy the show.
    2. I was plugged into two half-stacks and louder is more good.
    3. Doing backing vocals for one song in particular a 10 000-strong crowd knew (not mine, of course - I was sideman) meant I was hit with a wall of reverb.
    4. I was younger and had more hair than I do now.

Epicness! That must of been special, always reckon the 'sing-along' song is the bet of the set (if one has one)

And yes, I also had more hair back then 😸

1988 Ruakana, then South West Africa. I was rhythm guitarist for NWU choir. The stage, two SAMIL 100 Kwêvoël flat beds flanked by two P90 Noddy Cars.
About a thousand troops in attendance.
The entertainment troupe featuring 50 singers and a full live band.
We were invited by the then Military command to visit the border and entertain the troops.
        Ruakana was the most memorable.
