Effective 31 May onwards.

Not surprising,, last time I went into Musica (for some Joh Mayer cd's), the store wasn't about the music - the music selection was crap. Was all gaming 'n crappy consumer electronics. Staff were friendly and helpful though - was actually a good visit

Surprised that they wouldn't rather sell it off than close it down though. Guess it depends on the business model.

Thinking a little more, I just wouldn't head to a store to buy physical media - covid or no. Only time I've got physical media in the last decade was from events (launch/gig/etc). I even objected to having the band's album burnt to CD - what's the point? I think the only exception to that would be vinyl?

Same here. I stopped going to Musica when Look and Listen was around.. they seem to have closed years back.. Musica's selection of the alternative genres wasnt great in my opinion. But agree.. of late, it was more games and dvds, bluray, consoles and headsets and wotnot. I guess it was the attempt to change with the times and to try stay relevant, but online retail and more recently Covid must have been really tough for that business

Very sad when businesses shut doors.
