I heard murmuring of Black Friday actually being special this year. I've seen some retail (household goods) that were actually decent - but on the musical front -so far- mostly underwhelming.
Overall, the musical guys marketing efforts have been -imho- poor this year. One SMS from Bothners this week, a early bird email from Raru and that's it. Bizarre.
Raru have been running deals for a while - check out their deals here. Though...from what I saw, most of their stock will be cheaper elsewhere. E.g. The Headrush stuff is also on special (and cheaper) at TOMS.
Takealot also have some early deals going, but very few and nothing interesting, check em out here
TOMS are promising something special - I reckon they're the ones to keep a eye on. Also their two Cpt stores are celebrating their 1st year anniversaries...might be worth a visit.
...onto Bothners, despite the branding - the online pricing hardly indicates a BF sale. Perhaps they'll drop deals on the day. I do hear they are pushing towards more online sales via Takealot, so their big deals might just come through there. But...as always with Bothners, pop in store and have a dig around, there's usually something demo/shop soiled they're doing a decent deal on.
Marshall have just stuck up their Black Friday Deals - some interesting things!
I havn't checked out Harry Green, Sound Select, etc...because they are that under the radar that I didn't hear a thing!
If you have a retailer/deal you wanna share, please do!
