Again, realllly interesting...even useful!

tldr; talks & demo's the 5 basic overdrive circuits.

Enjoyed these videos.. very good. I wasnt feeling fuzz until the Reverend reminded me of how epically filthy a fuzz can be. Now... im intrigued

Yes, yes and yes. I was never a fan (I only really heard the op-amp EHX), always went the Metal Zone higher gain fizz route w/.humbuckers. But now, I'm hearing how much low end a good fuzz can add to a single coil and how much bite a single coil brings to a fuzz. Hmmm. I do like!

What i am doing more of on my amps that dont have high gain.. i stack the suckers.

So i have 2 i sometimes run in unison to get a nice rock type drive.. and i have a third which is metal type drive. I ended up doing it quite by mistake. Yknow. Because of fomo i just stuck them all on the board. But so many ewwwchewb videos say that it is actually a good idea.. so there you go 😁

Hahaha, was talking about this exact thing with the Junkies this week. Stack drives/fuzzes etc... and then output to two amps. Of course these are all young people with strong backs and no kids 🤣

I did do this with my old Line 6 X3 live (have dual signal paths hains, so you could stack drives &/or stack amps and then blend with a expression. That was cool - I almost miss that unit. It broke 3mths after I sold it...so I didn't. But you have reminded me to keep a eye out for the POD version of it.
