Here we go with voting on our final round of the Guitar Talk Lockdown challenge.

Well done and a big thank you to everyone who entered, submitted a backing track, commented and voted!

Wasn't easy keeping musically creative during these interesting times - well done to all who managed to muddle through somehow!

Once the voting settles on this round, we'll total up the votes and declare a overall winner. Who get's to choose the next challenge...heh, and you thought you could avoid that, yeah right!

Voting closes 26th April @ 23:59

Meticus - LoCkDoWn Challenge Pt.3

Ok, that was quite difficult this time. I found that Brass Knuckles backing very interesting, but not convenient for the German bagpipe. Acoustic guitar also doesn't fit very well and I don't have an electric guitar (yet). So I checked all instruments lying about and picked the tin whistle 😄
Mixing also was a little tricky. How to mix such contrasting instruments 😄

Guidothepimmp - Knuggle Dragging Reggae

I too took the bait on V8's knuckle dragging reggae. Part of the allure was the sick rhythm section and epic tone.. in the end I used a tele with a fairly driven amp, boosted with drive, saturated with delay and reverb... and the secret toanz sauce... a half cocked wah pedal...don't ask...

Who Challenged the mostest Lockdown this round?

This poll has ended.

guidothepimmp Meticus gets my vote by default.. well played sir

Dito. That vote was easy 😀

V8 I used a tele with a fairly driven amp, boosted with drive, saturated with delay and reverb... and the secret toanz sauce... a half cocked wah pedal...

Since I don't have an electric guitar (yet), I don't understand the details you're talking about 😆 But I like the outcome very much! Sounds very professional to me, great work!
