Basically the idea is to meet to guys in the Cpt area who fix your gear. Pop in with your stuff that may need some loving to get it back into rocking shape - free assessment, swop ideas or just come and hangout with like minded peeps.
From what I've heard there'll be luthiers, pedal builders, electronics repairs, drum reapir guys to chat to, along with all the junkies who are regulars. If you are a fixer or a person with gear in need of tlc - this is the event for you!
One snippet of inside info to share...The pedal guy is doing VERY interesting pedals at really good prices. The RAT clone is as good as I've heard (80's ProCo Rat circuit & parts) and there's a "Full Metal Racket" fuzz flavoured pedal with a unique glitch effect (simulates a 9V battery dying in a distortion pedal) . I gave both of those a run and they were real good, that glitch effect was too much fun!
