I managed to secure two items recently which I deem essential for a recording studio.
1. A High precision 2 channel tube pre-amp and
2. A 4-8 channel earphone amplifier, 4 channel Recording interface and a 12 channel small format mixer.
Now these items showed potential to clutter my work space and off course with a plethora of cabling running all over the show.
So a ? moment and 30 minutes on the Toob, I got my inexpensive idea.
18mm shutter ply, which is available at most hardware stores, at a reasonable price and substantially cheaper than pine laminate board.
A cutting list, 55mm sunken head screws, countersink 3.2mm drill bit, cold glue, sanding paper and matte black paint. (Not to talk of another straight edge and square to add to my already growing collection)
So, the construction has begun, once completed, I will post pics and the cutting list dimensions, should any one be inclined to tackle a similar project
