Stoffeltoo Maybe a suggestion from site admin to determine the winner?
Hmmmm, I dunno! 4 votes each and there's a prize in the balance. I liked both tracks, so it's tough to tie-break it...
How do you and @RodneyVikens feel about rolling the prize over to the next challenge?
Stoffeltoo . I would like to propose that competitors submit a song as an anthem to their preferred playing style. So yes open to four main genre groups, Folk/classical, rock/blues, Country/pop, Jazz
Rule is to share blurb on origin and why you see it as your anthem as music is a very emotive art form and song or song structure has its origins somewhere in the creator's psyche.
I can dig it - @RodneyVikens usually the winner gets to choose the next topic, if you like @Stoffeltoo's (or want to suggest your own), please let us know.
I rather enjoyed all entries this month:
@RodneyVikens had s pretty tight, nicely balanced track - didn't need much in the way of eq - thought it was a Supersport instrumental track they use when showing scores, etc... - really well done.
@Stoffeltoo brought the full on song, great track - ever developing serious skills!
@studmissile wowed us (again) with tasty slide playing. And donated a prize for us debate over...!
@warrenpridgeon actually got a entry in - that's cause enough to celebrate, and it was full of acoustic toanz! And finally, though @RCNV didn't get any votes, he was my 'in the spirit of' winner -0 simple stripped down and I could easily hear the chords in his song - well done!
Now if you have them chords under your fingers you are all set to learn some AC/DC...?
