I think the activity goes through waves. I think iy has been busy before. It does seem a bit quieter. To be fair though. There is a lot more activity on the whatsapp group amongst the members on that particular group

RodneyVikens Not as much as it has been, facebook is 'easier' - but @NorioDS is slowly n surely getting us there. If you'd like a bit more real-time banter, poke Norio to add you to the whatsapp group - plenty of off-forum musical banter there.

What I do like RE:forum vs FB vs whatsapp is that conversations/posts don't get as lost in the clutter - forgotten - occasionally, but I can generally find what I'm looking for in the archives.

V8 I prefer not to use a public profile. Whatsapp group will be permanently on silent unfortunately. Anyways, PM will be a while.

It's the joy of a forum like this - anonymity is still a thing I appreciate. I think 99% of the fella's on the whatsapp group have it on silent (it's advised when joining). While not very active on whatsapp - I do like the whatsapp thing - covers the lack of PM's and you get a feel for the regulars - makes deals/meetups easier.

V8 How do I get myself on the Watsapp group?

So I decided to mess around on the acoustic. Did an acoustic cover for Touch The Sky. Vocals not the best. Might do an instrumental rather and get rid of the vocals.

      Acoustic + Vocals:

      Acoustic Only:

Original for the Competition, mixed and mastered by @ScottyDogg :

guidothepimmp I have no idea in what key it is. I just tuned my guitar until it had a nice open tuning I like. So probably open D or C. I will see if I can get the tuning again and grab a tuner to see what each string has been tuned too. Then I just played with finger shapes until I got the sound I liked.

For the actual recording I just recorded each part twice and in sections, except for the Guitar C (C for centered =) ), which is basically a single take of the verses and chorus and then panned centered. Guitar L and Guitar R supports Guitar C, each separate recorded. Guitar a L and a R is a harmony of sorts recorded twice, Guitar b L and b R is the high octaves you hear coming in at the end just to give it a bit of build up.
