Hi Guys

Anyone know if Chapman guitars are sold in SA?

Been following the Andertons youtube channel for a while now, amazing content.

Was just really interested to know if they are sold here...

robvdp I contacted them directly a year or so ago. At that point they told me that Thomann was the only way to get them here. Not sure if that's still the case.

I was interested in trying one, I'm a Rabea fan - there's a handful floating around SA, seen one for sale 2nd hand a while back but they're rare locally.

Shipping might be a bit, as you'll want to get a courier to pre-clear customs - do not trust SAPO to clear it in reasonable time frame.

Would I bring one in, given there are a LOT of similar guitars around the price point?

I'm not terribly interested in the Standard - Charvel/Jackson/ESP/Schecter are comparable. The Pro series IS interesting with stainless frets and premium bits - can't really think of a comparable major brand in the same price point. Though...there are a few local guys putting together guitars that are similar in spec and price.

I'm impressed with the spec and look of this - I've played a comparable Jackson and it was great.
