I'm impressed that this is happening (September 2018) - although only in Jhb (boo!). I reckon the first one is gonna be a blast. Were I still the comic nerd of a decade ago I'd be road-trippin!

V8 Worth going for the cosplay alone! Fun to see the lengths people go to with their costumes... especially when they make it themselves and it turns out awesome.

That would be me then... ? Luckily I know better...task some ladies with the dress-up and just go along with their flow like a Ken doll ?

I'd be going for the comics - imho, still one of the greatest story telling mediums.

We were at the alt. market in Centurion this weekend and that was awesome. Some fun goodies to be had there, although it was a very small market. Hope it will grow...

Anyway... lots of buzz there about Comic Con SA. Apparently the Big Bang Theory cast could come. Same goes for some Game of Thrones cast members ?

Will be pretty epic. Definitely one to book for in advance!
