Portable guitar interface
I would really appreceiate some knowledgeable inputs on the iRig2 and iRigUA portable interface modules as well as the Amplitube apps for Android.
I am looking for a small interface that I can plug the guitar and earphones in to and still be able to play along with my tracks on my Android. I have been told that the iRig modules are the best, but I seem to find little info about their ability to support my requirements. The You Tube videos on the subject does not cover my question and it seems there are few suppliers that can give any definite answer wrt playing backtracks through the apps and module while playing the guitar.
Is there any other such products available that can do the same job?
Any advice would be welcome.

It seems to be such a simple request... having a portable interface that works well with tracks on your phone. That order is apparently taller than we think. I have an iRig and it works perfectly with Apple devices (Garageband, Amplitube, etc), but it also won't satisfy your requirement. Amplitube works with backing tracks, but you have to import it into the app, and it's generally more schlepp than you'd expect.

This is probably a much better analogue option for use with headphones. And CHEAPER!
It has an Aux in that allows you to play the tracks from your phone.

Thx for the link. It seems that that is exactly what I'm looking for. The link says they do not ship to SA. I found a store that lists the Bass version. Will contact them for the Classic Rock (unless you could supply me with a contact store0.
      Appreciated.

Cool man. I just went with that one as an example. I don't have more supplier details, but I'm sure there are local distributors. Vox is not the only brand with this product btw. Nux, Donner and Joyo are some of the brands with similar products.
