[Gig] Alinea Album Launch 18th November

I know November has been chock full of gigs, launches and stuff but if you've got nothing better to do...

It is a 'free' gig at ROAR, name your price at the door, anything > R0 gets a Bandcamp download voucher of the album. Personally, I reckon R20 is a fair price for the album. My logic is that a fan would buy us a beer, so rather get a album and leave us sans hangover on Sunday ?

I'll pop the links to the album once it's released (Next week). It'll be on Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon, Deezer and Youtube - plus we're now leading the pre-order charts on Raru (we overtook Now 77!) and we're the 3rd best selling CD on Raru right now. Umm. Yeah. Probably means we've got 3 pre-orders ?

Jazzman105 Was a great party! I reckon everyone had a grand time, great vibes from everyone all round ? - A cool thing, we managed to cover the costs of MC, sound guy, photographer and merch person!

Alas, we struggled a bit with our set - monitors were a bit shitty (great during soundcheck, but after the two other bands we should have really dialled them in again) and the drummer and I cramped up badly towards the end of the set (despite warming up and being sober) - it was damn hot n stuffy at ROAR.

Earlier, I saw the guys from Oh God hydrating heavily and wondered why...well, now I know ?

Jazzman105 Our set ain't for the faint hearted I tell ya ?

Is fast at practice, I could just about do two sets. But it's insane live, drums and that eight string start the tunes and gallop away at ludicrous speed.

Heaven forbid the idea of starting to a click track...?

I'm with you, I'm looking forward to more humane genres. Got invited to a gypsy jam session, though that's similarly masochistic?
