dolos

Hi there. New to the guitar, but decided to do the bucket list thing even if it takes ages. Bought a Cort M200 and taking lessons currently. I hope to find as much information on this magical topic at this forum.

You choose the perfect instrument for the bucket list and, believe me, it will take ages. But that's the beauty of it all, there's always something else to learn. Really rewarding.

I agree. It will take a while. It will cause frustration, but it is all worth it.

Dolos, make sure the action is as low as possible, use extra light strings. Oh, and if you feel it is too easy with not enough pain and frustration, do buy yourself one more guitar. A "traditional" nylon string classical guitar, and take lessons for that....
Have fun, what amplifier did you get? You must start saving for a small valve amp!
