I am like a kid in the proverbial candy shop.
Received another pedal to expand my repertoire as a guitarist and a quasi keyboard player.
About six months ago, I started GAS'ing for Electro Harmonix pedals because the band that I play in did not have a keyboard player.
First home run was with a Key 9, followed three months later by a B 9 and today supplemented with a Mel 9.
I still need to save for a Synth 9 and I should have a very wide range keyboard sounds for fills in the band. (I like this part as it is less strenuous to me as a guitarist and I can get away with two to three note chords)
So back to the drawing board to rearrange the pedal board contents to make space for the new arrival.
Hopefully someone will soon recommend a competition on the forum where these pedals can be used to their full potential in a song.
Yikes! did someone just say HOF?

They had one of these EHX synth pedals on "That Pedal Show" a while back, if I remember right. What really appealed to me is that you can choose to mix in your dry signal, which then really beefs up your guitar sound. Who wouldn't want the support of a roaring organ when you're chugging away? Check out their "Synth sounds for electric guitar" episode on YouTube. I'm sure you'll enjoy Hologram Electronics' Infinite Jets Resynthesizer - if you haven't seen it already.

Hiya Dave. No synths as yet. The three EHX so far meet the need but will investigate. These three pedals have raised plenty comments and questions. The dry blend does help a lot with blend between key/organ sound and guitar
