So...eventually...I'm getting around to starting up a new Hall of Fame and hosting all tracks on the GFSA soundcloud account.

Feel free to comment and link to your tracks from your social media accounts.

It makes more sense to me to have this listed by year - if you've entered before 2016, have a look at our legacy Hall of Fame (2008-2014) here : http://www.guitarforum.co.za/monthly-competition/weekly-competition-hall-of-fame!/

    January 2016 Challenge : http://www.guitarforum.co.za/monthly-competition/gfsa-challenge-january-2016-loop-mini-challenge-(all-instruments-welcome!)/

Compose and record a entry that can be used as a backing track. This can either be a loop or -if you like- it can be structured as a tune (E.g. verse/chorus).

Two tracks - one track percussion/metronome and the other track featuring your instrument of choice (guitar/bass/drums/piano/etc...). Up to a max of 40 seconds long. Any genre!

The idea is, that the next challenge will build on this one and jam a solo/melody using these entries.

Using -at least- one of Part I's entries (Jan 2016 Loop challenge), create a song. You can remix, warp, sample, loop or use as is, any track(s) entered

        March 2016 Challenge : http://www.guitarforum.co.za/monthly-competition/march-2016-challenge-make-it-move-together/

Action/Fight themed challenge - interpretation is now also part the creative process. From duelling banjos, a backing track for a action scene in a movie or pre-fight music for a professional boxer. Basically, whatever you can imagine!
