They're fun, I think of the Cort Actions as a budget version of the Ibby Soundgear stuff.
The alternative are SX basses, they have a more traditional feel - although I doubt we'll find a new one under 2k anymore. I've got the itch to relic another bass, so I'm looking around for beat up a SX Jazz to, errr, beat up on.
