Does anyone here have any input on these amps. Do they do all that is claimed, which is a lot. also, the Marshall Code 25 amp, do they model everything that is claimed, and how well. I'm toying with the idea of getting one of each, but I suppose that I should go and try before I buy. Any and all input/comments appreciated. Thankx in advance.

Hi deebee!
One of my guitar teacher's students has the Peavey Vyper (not sure what model) and he's very happy with it. He also has the Sanpera foot switch. A friend of mine has the Marshall Code, and he loves it. When I bought my first amp, Stuart at Marshall Music suggested the Blackstar ID:15 TVP amp. My guitar teacher wasn't too thrilled when I first plugged it in, but it's been holding its own alongside two Marshall Valvestate amps in jam sessions. I'm very happy with it. Tweaked my own clean and overdriven tones, and some of the downloadable patches are really sweet.

There is a very long thread on a certain marshall forum, almost 200 pages about the marshall code amps, and what it comes down to is that the factory presets are garbage on the code amps, so do not judge those amps by the presets. People have gotten them to sound really nice and sounding extremely close to some marshall amps from what ive read.
Many claim it blows the vyper out of the water.
Ive got a blackstar ID30 and its sounds killer! much better than my valvestate lol. I hated the blackstar at forst until I started to point the thing at my face, I was coming from a halfstack, so remeber with these small combos to point them to your ears/face, otherwise they all sound boxy and lifeless imo.
