  • Vocal workshop for musicians

This is in Randburg (Joburg) in the afternoon of 14 Jan 2017 ...

I have arranged a workshop by a vocal coach. It is someone who I have worked with in the past and he will be able to help us improve our vocal skills and teach us all sorts of tricks and techniques.

There will be an accompanist as well on piano.

IMPORTANT: This is a paid workshop by a singing coach that is skilled in working with amateurs and musicians.

The price is R150.00 per person for the workshop, which will be about 2 hours in length.

Payment can made on the day, but we need a minimum of five people to make it worth while for the coach and piano player.

Thanks for the info! I think I'm going to try make a plan and get there!
They'll probably tell me there's no hope for me... but at least I can be "no hope with a little more skill" hahahahaha.

You'd be surprised. Just learning what key to sing in is a great start. I've been going for vocal coaching for just over a year now. While I won't be trying idols anytime soon I can at least hold a note now.

The last note I held said "Warren can't participate in PT today because he has a sore knee"... lol.

I might go just to see what there is to see.

          Hahahahaha.

ahhhh...Singing - my achilles...we have a love hate relationship. I love singing but hate the sound of my voice (unless i get the notes right). I can hold a note, but struggle with control and singing in the upper registers. Once bought 'ultimate voice coach' (verimark), had it in my car and nearly fainted (while driving) from the exertion and lack of oxygen. ??? Scary moments.

This would be great if I wasn't 400KM away. And at only R150??? Bargain!!

Go yonder and sing y'all! Go!
