Got some heavier strings on the top 3 strings of the pimocaster - 1st tried a set of baritone strings (.068. 0.58, 0.44) - impressively they fitted on the 'caster! Tuned to B standard, tension felt a touch tauter than a set of 10's (.046, .036, 0.26) tuned to e standard
But...the 0.068 string was a bit too taut to get that out-of-tune djenty sound - so then I swopped and changed strings until I ended up with .058, .044, .036. Feels good and getting that djenty out of tuned-ness sound in a b standard tuning on the top three strings. Impressed with the pimpocaster, it's taking the heavier strings without a issue - no need for a seven string here!

Piezo pickup + Modelling amp = Serious metal tone.
I am gonna give this a try...just to see what it does. ?
Me too - got a toy arriving this week for the 13pin midi/piezo output on the pimpocaster. That should be interesting.
