Hi guys! I need some help please. I'm building my first kit guitar. Dry fitting, painting all went well. I started with poly lacquer yesterday and this morning when I checked on the curing on the current coat I have a hole in my finish close to the neck joint that went right down through the wood.
How do I fix this? I really don't want to sand down the whole body to start over again! :-\

Nevermind! I just sanded down and started from scratch :'(

Sorry man, I wasn't sure what to tell you. You have probably chosen the correct course of action, I would have been lazy and masked off that area and tried spraying and sanding to see if that would do the trick.

you could have drop filled, if it was only a small hole. it happens from what I understand.
