I am pretty sure the add was changed. It never said R2K for guitar only. It was only R2.5K guitar and amp. My limited knowledge obviously got in the way of sensible thinking.

I hear ya! I don't have one either, for good reason. I walked into the LMS the other day and saw a Gretsch on sale for just over R20K. (that said, Nelspruit is incredibly expensive, so not sure how much of a special it was). I immediately though "overdraft, now!" but knew that my wife would kill me... and good sense prevailed.
