April Mini challenge - Now that's a catchy riff!

Write a catchy riff...is it a bass groove with some drums, a two guitar metal harmony, maybe fingerstyled country dueling or some djenty goodness?

Genre : Anything goes.

Max 2 instruments.
Max 40 seconds (or less).

Or must it be LITERALLY (and unfairly) only two instruments? Bass and guitar only? Drum and guitar only? Guitar and guitar only? Etc.

Literally two instruments . I'm not understanding how it's unfair? It's the same for everyone...

We've done a few of the mini challenges over the last 9-10mths, If anything, I reckon the limitation(s) has made it more competitive between the entrants (a bit like T20 cricket).

Personally I'm a fan of keeping a shorter challenge format. Since I've been entering (2008) There have been various revisions to the format - as time has passed the number of tracks/instruments, and length have increased. This has been largely organic (give the people what they want)...and with your input, it will continue to change!

At the moment I'd want to have a few formats (mini challenge, 2min song challenge & 4+min song challenge) that we can play with and keep things interesting.

Lol.... fine. I will submit my entry tonight, regardless. Just seems so empty without drums AND bass. But just drums and guitar it is then!
